By downloading, installing, or using Oneira, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
Oneira is a dream journal application that allows you to record, analyze, and track your dreams. The app provides voice recording, AI-powered analysis, statistics, and cloud synchronization features.
You must create an account to use Oneira. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
Oneira offers a premium subscription with additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through your App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device settings.
Premium members have 10 AI dream analyses per day. Each dream can be analyzed up to 3 times (1 initial analysis + 2 re-analyses). These limits are set to maintain service quality and ensure fair usage. Unused credits do not carry over to the next day.
NightLock is an optional end-to-end encryption feature that secures your dream journal entries with a personal 6-digit PIN. By enabling NightLock, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. PIN Ownership & Responsibility: You are solely responsible for remembering and safeguarding your NightLock PIN. Oneira does not store, transmit, or have access to your PIN in any form.
2. No Recovery Option: Due to the zero-knowledge architecture of NightLock, there is no password reset, PIN recovery, account recovery, or any other mechanism to retrieve a forgotten PIN. Oneira support staff cannot help you recover a lost PIN.
3. Data Loss Risk: If you forget your NightLock PIN and attempt to access your dreams on a new device, all encrypted dream entries — including text, AI analyses, mood data, and tags — will be permanently and irreversibly inaccessible. Oneira is not liable for any data loss resulting from a forgotten PIN.
4. Device-Level Access: On your current device, your dreams remain accessible as long as you are logged in with an active NightLock session. The PIN is required when you sign in on a new device or after a session reset.
5. PIN Changes: You may change your NightLock PIN at any time. Changing the PIN re-encrypts all existing dream data with the new key. The previous PIN will no longer work after a successful PIN change.
6. Encryption Standard: NightLock uses AES-256 encryption with a key derived from your PIN using a secure key derivation function. While this provides strong protection, no encryption system is absolutely unbreakable.
7. Account Deletion: If you delete your Oneira account, all data — including encrypted NightLock data — will be permanently deleted after the 30-day grace period, regardless of whether the data was encrypted.
You retain ownership of the dreams and content you create in Oneira. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide our services. We do not share your personal dream content with third parties.
You agree not to misuse our services, attempt to access them using methods other than the interface we provide, or use the app for any illegal purposes. Violation of these terms may result in termination of your account.
We may terminate or suspend your access to Oneira at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Oneira is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Dream analysis and interpretations are for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only and should not be considered professional psychological advice.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Oneira after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
